Ubiqare Health, as a Finalist in Upjeevika’s Telemedicine Livelihoods Challenge
07Dec
Ubiqare Health has been selected as one of the two finalists in Upjeevika’s Telemedicine Livelihoods Challenge. The Upjeevika Initiative reimagines livelihoods at scale and supports scalable social innovation in the livelihoods space. They provide actionable research to innovators and change-makers to enable data-backed decisions. They also invite innovators to ideate collaboratively and create model prototypes that can be transformed into solutions. Upjeevika recognizes that telemedicine can address the current challenges to healthcare access. Ubiqare Health is selected as a finalist for its unique platform and business model that combine telemedicine, digital specialty care and last-mile clinical network. The Ubiqare model not only connects specialized medical expertise to remote patients, but also creates new livelihoods for distributed healthcare workers living in proximity to the patients at home. This network of healthcare workers, nurses and doctors augments the capacity to deliver physical care and can be scaled as per needs. Team Ubiqare extends gratitude to Upjeevika team for the recognition. We look forward to working closely with Upjeevika and its partners to further its cause.
