The JSS Hospital, Mysore partnered with Ubiqare Health to use our tele healthcare platform to extend their care to patients beyond the hospital. The new home monitoring service of the hospital was launched recently.
 

The second wave of the COVID pandemic added tremendous pressure on the country’s healthcare system. The shortages of hospital beds, trained medical resources, etc. created a horrifying situation. Amidst that chaos, JSS Hospital emerged as an early adopter of a hybrid care model and a leader amongst peer hospitals.

 
The partnership allows the hospital staff to use telehealth technology to monitor and treat mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic patients at home where they isolate. It also allows the hospital to minimize the risk of infection transmission to and by their staff.

 
The telehealth partnership also enables the hospital to optimize bed utilization and make resources available for the acute care patients, without compromising the care and medical attention needed by low risk COVID-19 patients.

 
The digital workflow of the platform is currently set up to adhere to the treatment protocols defined for COVID-19. However, the solution can be customized to meet any additional requirements of the hospital.

 
The partnership is also aligned to the hospital’s vision of offering homecare service at doorsteps to people in Mysore city who cannot travel to visit the doctor at affordable cost. Ubiqare Health’s mobility healthcare platform will enable the hospital to make healthcare accessible to all.

 
The platform can host illness specific care protocols and care workflows recommended by the hospital specialists. The platform technology provides continuity of care and information and is interoperable with HIS.
